Make sure not to place and radon testing kit near furnace or anything that moves alot of air like a fan or even clothes dryer. This might ruyin the test results or give bad readings.

I say to buy 2 charcoal radon testing units because the cost is lower and 2 tests are better than one. You want to see if radon levels are higher than normal and if needed you can tehn hire a radon testing service to make sure results are correct.
